How do I push a domain to another account or sub-account?

To push a domain or list of domains (this method also works for pushing expired domains still in grace period):

  • Login to your account.
  • Select menu option "Domain > Domain Tools"
  • Select "Push a Domain"
  • Enter the domain name(s) (or "Search your domains")
  • Enter Login ID of the account into which you wish to push the domain.
  • Check whether you would like to keep the contact information the same by choosing "push with domain", or if you would like to change the domain contact info to that of new account by choosing "Do not push". If you choose "Do not push", this will trigger a verification email sent to the new and old email address (see note below).
  • Click "Push Domains"
Alternate Domain Push Method (does not work for expired domains):
  • Login to your account.
  • Select menu option "Domain - My Domains"
  • Check mark the domain(s) you would like to push
  • In the drop-down menu at the bottom, click "Push Selected"
  • Click "Go"
  • Verify the domain name and enter Login ID of the account into which you wish to push the domain.

Please verify LOGIN ID before you hit Submit.  All pushes are final.  Incorrect pushes cannot be reversed.  Once the push is successful, only the new account holder can push back after .

Note: domain pushes between accounts process immediately

Note: Domains can only be pushed once every 7 days.

Note: Resellers can push once from their sub account and back to the original account, within the same 7 days.

Note: When you change the registrant contact information of a domain, it triggers a verification email that is sent to both the new and old email address. The changes need to be verified within 6 days in order for the change to go through.
