Can you provide more information on reseller accounts?

It is great to see that you are interested in a reseller account! We can provide some information on that.

As we are a reseller with Enom ourselves and use Enom's account system, your domain account with us can be converted into a reseller account also, which is through Enom.

The first thing that is different about a reseller account is the way that you pay for domains. Instead of using a credit card for each transaction, with a reseller account you deposit money into an account balance with us (min. of $25 at a time), and then pay for services with that balance. This is a way to keep the cost down for you, because we are able to bypass the credit card fees, and then pass the saving along to you. This way we can offer .com domains at around $10.00 instead of $12.35.

If you are interested in sellings domains, there are a few ways you can do it!

There are several different ways to sell domains through your reseller account. You can create sub-accounts for your customers yourself, and have your customers login through our website or Enom's website. You can set up a registry rocket link, where you can have a simple, personally branded website for your customers to manage their domains. You can utilize the API's available at Enom, and integrate our systems into your own website (advanced). All of these options so far are completely free!

You can also connect your Enom reseller account to a management system such as WHMCS or Clientexec. These management systems are paid, but sometimes can come free with a reseller web hosting package at places like A2 Hosting.

The Process of Switching your account to a reseller is quick, easy, and free!

Actually switching your account to a reseller account is a simple, quick, and free process. We just need to flip the switch. After that, you can start exploring different options and features.

Let us know if you want to switch your account to a reseller account, and we can go ahead and make that change.

Also, let us know if you have any questions about reseller accounts. We're glad to answer any questions you may have!

Note: Inactivity Fees: A reseller account is free, but can be subject to inactivity fees. If there are no purchases from your reseller account within the past 12 months, a $50 inactivity fee is deducted quarterly. To avoid this fee, there just needs to be at least one transaction on the account in the last 12 months. (See HelpDesk article: Reseller: Inactivity Fees)

Note: After your account has been switched to a reseller account, it cannot be switched back.
