DNS: Check DNS (nameserver) validity / registration

When trying to change the DNS, I have gotten an error message stating, "Nameserver 'ns1.example.com' could not be registered". Why is this?


When putting in DNS (domain nameservers) , the system checks against a DNS database, and if it can't find the DNS in there, it reports this error.


This may mean you have the wrong DNS (or wrong format), or the DNS is not registered to where our system can detect it.
